The College is duly recognised by the NCTE and Govt. of Himachal Pradesh for 100 Seats in admission to B.Ed. Course. The division of seats for different streams as approved by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh is as under:-

However, as per Hon'ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh order the above distribution is subject to change and the seats remaining unfilled in Medical and Non-Medical streams shall be filled from arts and commerce streams. Five seats will be filled up by the college management under management quota.
Any student interested in seeking admission, should buy a copy of College Prospectus cum-Admission Form from the college office. After going through the prospectus and admission form, he/she should follow the steps given below:
Step-1:
Fill in the application form legibly in your own handwriting. Attach necessary documents with admission form.
Step-2:
Bring your father/guardian along and present yourself before the Admission Committee to get the form checked and recommended.
Step-3:
Present yourself before scrutiny committee.
Step-4:
Go to the Principal's office and present yourself before the Principal for his/her final approval.
Step-5:
If the Principal approves your admission, go to fee clerk and deposit the fee on the same date.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
The candidate will submit/attach relevant documents as detailed :
1. Passport Size Photograph: Two unattested recent photographs are required at the time of admission (to be pasted on Admission Form and Student Record Card). The student would require another photograph later for Library Card. Please note that only College authorities will attest the photographs. Don't bring photographs attested by any body else.
2. Board/University Certificates: Copies of certificates/degrees and detailed marks card of Matriculation, +2, B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. examination already passed is to be submitted, while the original certificates are to be shown for verification. If the Board/University has not issued any particular certificate, provisional certificate from the head of the institution last attended will be acceptable, provided it gives the detailed marks. In addition bonafide Himachali Certificate, Character Certificate from the last institution attended is to be furnished. Candidate will furnish a fresh character certificate issued by any gazetted officers if the gap is more than six months from the institution last attendent. Candidate who has passed graduation from the college other than those affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University are required to furnish equivalence and eligibility certificate from Himachal Pradesh University at time of admission. They shal have to submit migration certificate within 20 days after the admission to B.Ed. course in the college. The candidate must be mentaly and physically fit to undergo the training.Married women are eligible for admission to regular B.Ed. course but they should not be in the family way at the time of admission. Married woman will have to produce medical certificate to this effect from the competent medical authority. There is no provision for grating maternity leave during the training. Defaulter, if any may be expelled from the college being medical unfit to undergo training.
3. Student's House Examination Result Card: The students should fill his/her Record Card attached with Admission form and paste rupees 6/- postal stamp on the House Examination Result Card and Envelope.
Note:
1. Migration Certificate in original is to be submitted by all the candidates migrating from outside Himachal Pradesh. In case the eligibility of such candidates is doubtful, he/she can be asked to bring equivalent certificate or eligibility certificate for admission to the desired class.
2. SC/ST/OBC/IRDP candidates must attach an attested copy of their category certificate and IRDP candidates should attach certificate showing the profession of the father and income from all sources. The original certificate issued by Magistrate Class-I or Tehsildar must be shown at the time of admission.
3. Bonafide Himachali Certificate issued by Magistrate Class-I or Tehsildar must be shown at the time of admission.
Eligibility Conditions For Admission
The College is imparting training in B.Ed. to all the three faculties of Science (Medical), Science (Non-Medical) and Commerce and Humanities. The students may seek admission in any of the three streams, provided they fulfil the following minimum eligibility conditions.
Minimum Eligibility Conditions for Admission to B.Ed.
(a) A bachelor's or master degrees (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.)or (M.A./M.Sc./M.Com.) with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University in India. For SC/ST candidates marks should be 45% at graduation or post graduation level.
(b) A candidate should not be above 26 years (General category boy candidate)and 28 years (General category girls candidates) SC/ST candidate should not be above 29 years. The cut of date for determining the age shall be 1st July of the year in which the candidate is seeking admission to the B.Ed. course.
